Reclamation names Carrie Diroll to lead Law Administration Division

DENVER - The Bureau of Reclamation has selected Carrie Diroll as the agency's Law Administration Division manager for the Mission Assurance and Protection Organization.

In this new role, Diroll leads the division in policy and program management for contracts and repayment, planning and economics, acreage limitation, incidental revenues, and has responsibilities of the Quality, Controls, and Standards. Under these programs, this office is responsible for the development, coordination, and consistent application of federal laws, in particular federal reclamation law, regulations, and Reclamation Manual Policy and Directives and Standards. Reclamation's Law Administration Division plays a critical role in the management of multiple programs established by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act.

"Carrie brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and vision to the Reclamation Law Administration Division," said Mission Assurance and Protection Organization Director Chris Beardsley. "Carrie's leadership and collaborative skills make her well-suited to lead this high-performing team."

Beginning her federal career in 2018, Diroll most recently led the Reclamation Law Administration Division's economics and planning team where she developed and oversaw water resources planning programs, developed policies, directives and standards, and led the review of federal planning studies.

Diroll holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Colorado, Denver.
