Want a chance to be among the first to see A Quiet Place: Day One? BU Today is celebrating the release of the latest installment in the Quiet Place universe with a trivia quiz. Each person who answers all the questions correctly will be entered in a drawing for two tickets to see A Quiet Place: Day One tonight, June 27, at 7 pm at AMC Boston Common 19.

If you missed the first two Quiet Place films, directed by The Office's John Krasinski, here's a quick recap: in the original (2018), it's been over a year since an alien invasion killed off most of the world's population. The aliens, although blind, are equipped with impenetrable armored skin and hypersensitive hearing. The Abbott family-mother Evelyn (Emily Blunt), father Lee (Krasinski), deaf daughter Regan (Millicent Simmonds), and sons Marcus (Noah Jupe) and Beau (Dean Woodward)-have managed to survive in a remote New York farm by communicating through American Sign Language and by staying silent so the monsters aren't alerted to their whereabouts. By the end of the film, the survivors have discovered a way to temporarily weaken the monsters, allowing them to fight back. In A Quiet Place Part II (2020), the Abbott family, reeling from loss, leave their home in search of other survivors.

Both films netted north of $250 million at the box office, and the third installment is projected to clear $40 million in its first weekend.
