Dublin City Council – DRAFT Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025– 2029

In accordance with the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998, Dublin City Council (being the relevant housing authority specified under the Act) is preparing a new Traveller Accommodation Programme for the period 2025 - 2029. This plan will cover the functional area of Dublin City Council. Dublin City Council requested submissions for the Programme from interested parties to be made by Thursday, 8th February 2024. On foot of these submissions and following an assessment of existing and projected accommodation needs for members of the Travelling Community within the City Council's administrative area, a draft version of the Traveller Accommodation Programme has been prepared and is available for public viewing from Monday, 1 st July 2024 to Friday, 30th August 2024. The draft can be viewed at the address listed below or can be accessed on our website: www.dublincity.ie. Copies can also be requested by phoning (01) 222 5290 and are available for viewing in the City Council's local Area Offices. Submissions are invited from interested parties and should be made in writing and returned in a sealed envelope marked 'DRAFT Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025-2029' and addressed to Manager, Traveller Accommodation Unit, Block 1, Floor 2, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, to be received no later than 12.00 noon on Friday, 30th August 2024
