Road closure on North Street in Newcastle

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on North Street (Regional Road 17) in the Municipality of Clarington's community of Newcastle.

When: October 21 to December 18.Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: North Street, from Grady Drive to 550 metres north of Grady Drive, in Newcastle.

Why: To safely reconstruct North Street to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
