Wind event could bring power shutoffs
With high winds and a Red Flag Warning in the forecast through early Wednesday, SDG&E is advising of possible power shutoffs in coastal North County. That includes neighborhoods served by underground lines, as those areas are supplied by transmission lines that might be shut off.
In inland areas, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning from now through 4 a.m. Dec. 11.
In Del Mar, the forecast shows that winds could gust as high as 30 mph today and 25 mph tomorrow.
