Beer Distributors Provide Critical Support for Hurricane Relief Efforts

Alexandria, VA - As beer distributors across the country mobilize to deliver critical supplies to hurricane-stricken areas, the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) announced a combined $75,000 donation to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund to aid recovery from Hurricane Helene, as well as continued fundraising efforts to support communities affected by Hurricane Milton.

NBWA, the North Carolina Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association and the Independent Beer Distributors Relief Fund each donated $25,000 today to aid ongoing relief efforts for North Carolinians affected by Hurricane Helene.

As Hurricane Milton approaches Florida, America's beer distributors will continue to provide essential support - from donations that go directly to recovery funds to delivering critical supplies to storm victims.

"Beer distributors are among the first to leap into action to serve their communities in times of crisis and we have seen these local, family-owned businesses make a big difference over the last week," said NBWA President and CEO Craig Purser. "NBWA is proud to work with state associations and our distributor members to expand the industry's important support for those affected by these devastating storms."
