New website of the Lausitz Science Network is online

The new website of the Lausitz Science Network has gone live. It provides information about the work of the network and its twelve members, presents joint research projects and bundles job vacancies in Lusatia as a science location.

The Lausitz Science Network is an alliance that connects universities, non-university research institutes and departmental research in order to promote cooperative projects and strengthen the exchange of knowledge. With the joint website, this close networking of the member organizations is now visible and the scientific cooperation within the network has a further platform for joint science and location communication.

"The Lausitz Science Network creates a critical mass for excellent research and innovative problem solving." - Prof. Dr. Gesine Grande, Chairwoman of the Board of the Lausitz Science Network and President of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

Founded in December 2022 and initiated by BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, the association brings together committed research institutions, universities and federal departmental research institutions based in Lusatia with the aim of strengthening the research location.

In future, the participants want to hold joint conferences, fund young scientists, initiate joint scientific projects and invest in the recruitment of specialists and the marketing of the science location.
