Students celebrate National Author's Day with a book release
Candice Goetsch, an art teacher at Arthur Kramer Elementary School, recently published a book, inspired by her lessons about Bridget Riley, an optical art pioneer. Entitled "Through a Diamond: The Looking Life of Bridget Riley," her story encourages children to engage more with their surroundings and find treasures of their own. On Friday, Nov. 1, the school will celebrate Goetsch's accomplishment, featuring live reading and a tunnel walk through their Bridget Riley-inspired op art installation. Media is invited to get visuals at 8:30 a.m., Friday morning.
