Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I started working here on Aug. 12, 2024.

Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
The people. Everyone is just so friendly!

Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
As a student, I loved being in the Lenfest Center and at the Help Desk, but the Japanese Tea Room changed my life!

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in San Diego, California. Some of my best memories are at the beach.

Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
Lol. Probably moving to Japan - it kicked the door open for me to go on many more adventures.

Q. What's your favorite thing to do when you're not working?
I like to travel and/or catch up with my friends in other countries. I also love to create. Anything that allows me to work with my hands feels like a great use of my time.

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
Honestly, probably in the countryside, but close to a big city whether it is New York, Los Angeles, Kyoto, London, or some other big name city, I don't see too much of a difference.

Q. What book are you reading now?
I'm rereading "Long Way To a Small Angry Planet." It's a Sci-Fi, but I feel like it has an adventure/fantasy feel to it that almost makes it a cozy read.

Q. What music are you listening to these days?
I just got into city pop and Japanese rap music. But usually, I'll be listening to anything catchy and energizing.

Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit." I've liked this movie probably since I was 13. The mix of animation and live action is so intriguing!

Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
I visit YouTube a lot to keep up with global news, but also to learn something new, or just to keep me company while I'm cleaning.

Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
As sappy as it is, my father. We always had great life chats and he always encouraged me to work through my shyness. I would LOVE to see what he thinks of all the adventures I've been on since I graduated from W&L. If not my dad, then Prince. He was crazy artistic and vibed at his own frequency, and I'd like to be able to just step into his world for a little bit.

Q. What is your desert island food?
Probably some variation of curry and rice. Or curry and cheese naan (think like a grilled cheese sandwich, but instead of two slices of bread , the melty cheese is encapsulated in naan) - though those who have eaten with me regularly would probably say french fries.

Q. Tell us something most people don't know about you.
Although my work experience implies I would have a degree in English, teaching or computer science, I majored in psychology. I really did think I would become a therapist or researcher.
