Scituate Barracks

On Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Juan A. Santiago Vazquez, age 52, of 232 Pawtucket Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for Bench Warrant for Weapon Offense originating out of Caguas Municipal Court, Puerto Rico. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles to take custody of the subject. The subject was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to Third Division District Court.

On Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:28 PM, Troopers arrested Selvin Omar Pineda, age 41, of 32 Ponagansett Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC .08 - .10 (Phase I: 0.096% & Phase II: 0.096%) - First Offense; 2.) Reckless Driving - First Offense; and 3.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of an investigation into a disturbance on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police - Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
