Share Your Input for the Future of Westlake Park

Seattle Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the Seattle Parks Foundation, is launching a community survey to gather input to reimagine Westlake Park. This project aims to transform the heart of Seattle's downtown core into a more vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive gathering space.

The survey is open through December 31, 2024, and your input will help create a space that reflects the needs and aspirations of all that use this great Seattle park.

Westlake Park has long served as a central hub of activity in downtown Seattle. This reimagining project is part of a broader effort to reinvigorate Downtown Seattle, creating a lasting legacy in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and beyond. Proposed improvements include enhanced lighting, new landscaping and site furnishings, destination play area, art features, removal of the fountain and stage to create a more open inviting plaza for community gatherings and events.
