11th Chinese military medical team to Laos awarded Medal of Valor

VIENTIANE, Nov. 27 -- Recently, the Lao Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to award medals to the members of 11th medical team dispatched by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) to Laos at the Military Hospital 103 of the Lao People's Army (LPA) in recognition of their outstanding contributions in providing medical assistance to Laos.

Since its arrival in Laos on June 2, 2024, the 11th medical team to Laos has provided medical services for 2,000 patients and conducted 219 surgeries in cooperation with the Military Hospital 103 of the LPA. The excellent performance of the team has won high trust and praise of the Lao military and people.

According to Li Bing, Defense Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Laos, the achievements of the 11th medical team to Laos not only reflect the long-term friendly relations between the two countries and the two militaries, but also inject everlasting impetus into the continuous deepening of the China-Laos comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
