Shore Medical Center to Host ‘A Cause to Celebrate’ October 5

Gala will honor General and Vascular Surgeon Dr. Leonard Galler

Shore Medical Center's largest annual fundraiser, A Cause to Celebrate, presented by Penn Medicine, returns to the Golden Nugget Atlantic City on Saturday, October 5, 6:30pm. This year's event, themed as a masquerade, will celebrate Shore Medical Center's contributions to the community while raising funds for new equipment, technology, and patient care initiatives.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Art Ford, III, Esq., Award to Dr. Leonard Galler, a community leader who exemplifies the caring spirit of Shore. Dr. Galler, who has served as a General and Vascular Surgeon in the region for 42 years, currently holds the position of Clinical and Administrative Surgical Department Chairman at Shore. His instrumental leadership and unwavering commitment have significantly enhanced the excellence of surgical care and overall standards at Shore Medical Center.

A Cause to Celebrate has become one of the region's most anticipated social events, drawing hundreds of the area's top movers and shakers. Guests will enjoy live music by The Heartbeats band, dancing, gourmet food, top-shelf spirits, a silent auction featuring high-end experiences and gifts, and a 50/50 raffle. Since its inception in 2015, the event has raised over $4.5 million for Shore Medical Center.
