RUDY RAKES IT IN: Salas More than Doubles David Valadao’s Fundraising in Q2, Outraises Incumbent Second Quarter in a Row

Even before Democrats broke 24-hour fundraising records this week, Rudy Salas not only outraised David Valadao once again, but dwarfed the vulnerable incumbent's fundraising in the second quarter of 2024 - bringing in $1.3 million from more than 12,000 unique donors, compared to Valadao's $615,154. Salas now enters the closing months of the campaign with more than $1.74 million cash on hand - nearly matching the incumbent's bank account, and more than doubling the cash on hand that Salas had at the same point in 2022.

While the enthusiasm for Salas' candidacy grows, Central Valley families are fed up with Valadao putting his political career over them and consistently siding with his extreme Republican Party at the expense of working families - from raising taxes on the middle class to pushing for a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman's life.

DCCC Spokesperson Dan Gottlieb:
"David Valadao is weaker than ever because voters know he'll always cave to anti-abortion, anti-freedom Republicans at the expense of California families just to stay in power. Voters are ready for Rudy's leadership because they know that in Congress, he will fight tirelessly to address their unique needs and get things done."
