Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Presents Brand Behavior Awards to Twelve Employees Who Embody the Bank’s Core Values

Bar Harbor, Maine (August 13, 2024) - Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recently announced the winners of the Bank's Brand Behavior Awards, which recognizes employees who demonstrate behavior that exemplifies the Bank's core values. Twelve employees were presented with awards for communication, initiative, positivity, professionalism, quality, and teamwork. These values guide the actions of all Bank employees and set the expectation for customers.

Employees are nominated for a Brand Behavior Award by their peers, and the winners are selected by an anonymous committee comprised of employees. The awards are presented twice a year.

The Brand Behavior Award Winners for the first half of 2024 are:

Saxon Tinto and Crystal Wood are the recipients of the Communication Award, which recognizes employees who share the right information clearly and quickly to build great relationships. Tinto, Vice President Loan Servicing Manager, has been with the Bank for six years and works in Ellsworth, Maine. Wood, Retail Support Specialist, has been with the Bank for 17 years and works in Maine.

Mark Giordano and Bonnie Poland are the recipients of the Initiative Award, which recognizes employees who continually work to improve the customer experience and team development. Giordano, Senior Vice President Enterprise Architect, has been with the Bank for nine years and works in Hampden, Maine. Poland, Assistant Vice President Residential Appraisal Officer, has been with the Bank for 47 years and works in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Michelle Siggers and Beth Zullo are the recipients of the Positivity Award, which recognizes employees who create a rewarding and exciting place to work. Siggers, Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2024 and manages the Bank's location in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Zullo, Branch Relationship Manager, has been with the Bank for 19 years and manages the Bank's location in Sunapee, New Hampshire.

Melanie Bowden and Kevin Gendreau are the recipients of the Professionalism Award, which recognizes employees who treat others with care and respect. Bowden, Vice President Senior Wealth Manager at Bar Harbor Wealth Management, has been with the organization for 39 years and works in Ellsworth, Maine. Gendreau, Vice President Director of Real Estate Management, joined the Bank in 2021 and works in Hampden, Maine.

CJ Carver and Nancy Silva are the recipients of the Quality Award, which recognizes employees who ensure the Bank adheres to the highest quality standards. Carver, Personal Banker, has been with the Bank for three years and works in the branch on Main Street in Bangor, Maine. Silva, Vice President Wealth Manager at Bar Harbor Wealth Management, joined the organization in 2022 and works in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

Kathleen Buck and Nicole Bunker are the recipients of the Teamwork Award, which recognizes employees who build great teams to make positive things happen. Buck, Marketing Specialist, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in Manchester, New Hampshire. Bunker, Customer Service Center Team Lead, has been with the Bank for seven years and works in Newport, New Hampshire.
