United for Morocco: TP's Aid and Support in Action

Caring for those in need is at the heart of everything we do at TP. When a devastating earthquake struck Morocco in 2023, we took action for the affected communities, ensuring immediate relief and ongoing assistance. On World Humanitarian Day, TP turned volunteer efforts and corporate responsibility (CSR) initiatives into lifelines for those impacted by the disaster.

Our response to the crisis was marked by tangible actions addressing the challenges of local communities. After mobilizing resources through a coordinated effort, TP assisted over 400 residents by distributing essential supplies such as clothing, food, and medicines. Additionally, we rehoused nine employees whose homes were severely damaged in the disaster.

A key highlight of our initiative was an internal fundraising campaign that raised over €24,000.

Beyond monetary contributions, the team also volunteered their time and efforts, showing a true example of empathy and community spirit. Collaborating closely with the Association Bahri, volunteers cleared debris and enhanced living conditions for families and children, offering immediate relief and restoring a sense of safety and comfort in their communities. In partnership with the SOS Children's Villages Association, they provided vital support to families affected by the crisis, especially women and children.

While the immediate response was essential, we remain committed to supporting Morocco's recovery journey in the long term. Our dedication extends through 2024, focusing on sustainable CSR initiatives to rebuild communities and support the affected families. Together with the SOS Children's Villages Association, we helped and supported families by providing financial and humanitarian aid to reduce the post-earthquake impact. We supported 50 women and 100 children, donating food and medicine and hosting activities for children.

We remain dedicated to fostering resilience and hope for the communities in need, leaving a legacy of support and compassion in Morocco and beyond.
