More than 8,000 guests on Ulm site​

Ulm, Germany, ​08 July 2024 ​- Sensor specialist HENSOLDT organised a family day at its Ulm site. HENSOLDT employees had the opportunity to show family members their workplace and the company. More than 8,000 visitors accepted the invitation.

The Family Day offered a varied supporting programme for HENSOLDT employees and their families. The HENSOLDT experts explained how the solutions and products work and how HENSOLDT produces in Ulm. There was also an extensive children's programme with a sandpit, face painting and a location search game.

"I am delighted that we were able to organise another family day here at the Ulm site. HENSOLDT has been the German technology leader for sensors in the fields of security and defence for many years. This achievement is primarily due to the work of our highly qualified employees at our site in Ulm, for whom we wanted to say thank you with the family day," says Peter Schlote, Site Manager Ulm and Head of Radar.

Site HR Manager Christian Knop adds: "The idea that all areas and levels of the company belong together and stand up for each other is firmly anchored in our corporate culture and this also includes the families of our employees. The day offered all HENSOLDT employees in Ulm the opportunity to give their families an insight into our everyday working life."
