NA Speaker Alen Simonyan Meets with Vietnamese NA Speaker Tran Thanh Mạnh

The delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, who is on an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, visited the National Assembly of Viet Nam on November 19 and met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Viet Nam, Tran Thanh Mạnh.

The interlocutors made a comprehensive review of Armenian-Vietnamese interparliamentary relations and discussed practical steps to accelerate their development.

In addition to issues related to interparliamentary relations, the discussions focused on the cooperation between the two countries in international organizations, as well as economic, educational, and cultural cooperation.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia thanked his Vietnamese counterpart for the warm welcome and invited him to make an official visit to Armenia.

Alen Simonyan also toured the premises of the National Assembly of Viet Nam and signed the register of Honored Guests.
