To aid in the continued recovery efforts following Hurricane Milton, Volusia County has opened an additional vegetative debris disposable drop-off site at 1360 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City. Residents can now dispose of vegetative debris, free of charge, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the new site as well as the three previously existing ones:

  • 1990 Air Park Road, Edgewater
  • Tomoka Landfill, 1990 Tomoka Farms Road, Port Orange
  • Old Plymouth Landfill, 1991 W Plymouth Ave., DeLand

Residents who plan to utilize one of the three vegetative debris drop-off sites must provide identification exhibiting proof of Volusia County residency. Contractors are legally required to dispose of vegetative debris properly and must take all debris to the Tomoka Landfill in Port Orange at 1990 Tomoka Farms Road or the West Volusia Transfer Station in DeLand at 3151 E. New York Ave. Residents can stay updated by following the County's social media channels or visiting www.volusia.org.
