In the context of the Paris 2024 Olympics the Foreign Ministry presents 'Sports in Argentina's Publishing Industry' selected texts

As part of Argentina's strategy to position itself at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the Argentine Foreign Ministry, together with the Argentine Chamber of Books (CAL), presented today at the Argentine Embassy in Paris an outstanding selection of 22 texts titled "Sports in Argentina's Publishing Industry."

The selection, on display from 24 July through 11 August, is intended to be a platform to promote the sale of books and their derivative rights at the global level. The selection includes works by the following Argentine publishing companies: El Ateneo, Bianca Ediciones, Edhasa, Grupo Imaginador, Editorial Stadium, Editorial UNAM, Galerna, Letra Impresa, Hola Chicos, Del Dragon, AZ Editora, Ediciones Corregidor, Suimanga Libros, Ediciones Granica, Lenguaje Claro, Grupo Editorial Sur, Libros UNA, Ediciones Urano, LID Editorial, Noveduc, Club House and Quipu.

The event gathered professionals from the publishing industry, representatives from sports and educational institutions, and personalities from the world of literature. There was a discussion segment where three of the selected texts were presented by their authors, who shared the manifold aspects of the connection between sports and literature. The books presented were:

Cantidad de Calidad.El Arte de la Preparación Física. (Quantity of Quality. The Art of Physical Training) (Editorial Stadium) by Horacio Anselmi, an expert on high-performance fitness, who shared his experience working with internationally-renowned athletes and teams;

Qatar 2022: Una mirada del Mundial desde la economía (Qatar 2022. An overview of the World Cup from an economy perspective) (Club House) by Francisco Mazzeo, an economist who offered a unique view on World Cup Qatar 2022 from an economic standpoint; and

Mis 5 km(My 5 km) (LID Editorial) by Caroline von Hartenstein, a graduate in Social Communication and ontological coach, who inspired the audience with her story on how sports helped her overcome emotional and physical challenges.
