Event Wrap: btNOG 11

APNIC supported and participated in btNOG 11, held in Thimphu, Bhutan from 4 to 9 August 2024.

The event welcomed 125 participants to hear from speakers on topics including network fundamentals, security, incident response, IPv6 and much more. View the program for more information.

APNIC activities:

• Jamie Gillespie and APNIC Community Trainer, Shamim Reza, conducted a five-day Security (InfoSec/NetSec) workshop for 32 participants.
• Chimi Dorji hosted a booth where he welcomed conference attendees and answered their questions on APNIC membership, Internet number resource requests and DASH.
• Chimi also took the opportunity to meet with several APNIC Members to answer their Internet addressing questions and share updates on APNIC's services and referral program.
