Drug Control Units Arrest Six Suspects Following Search Warrants in South Boston

At about 7:19 AM, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, members of the Drug Control Units of District C-6 (South Boston), A-1 (Downtown), B-2 (Roxbury), and E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) arrested Larriston Lake, 42, of Roslindale, Danielle Fougere, 43, of Revere, Phillip Renaud, 57, of South Boston, Francis Kenney, 33, of Quincy, John Randall, 40, of Boston, and Kieran McGourty, 37, of Boston, on firearm, drug charges, and active warrants.

Officers were conducting a long-term drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 22 Logan Way and 391 Old Colony Avenue in order to address ongoing community complaints of illegal drug activity.

As a result of the search warrant in the area of 22 Logan Way, officers recovered a Sig Sauer firearm, eighteen grams of crack cocaine, twenty grams of methamphetamine, various pills, $1,225 in US currency, several packaging materials, and digital scales.

As a result of the search warrant in the area of 391 Old Colony Avenue, officers recovered a Taurus firearm with five rounds in the magazine, and about $8,375 in US currency.

Lake was placed under arrest and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Improper Storage of a Firearm, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Subsequent Offense, Distribution of Class A, and Armed Career Criminal Level 3.

Fougere was placed under arrest and charged with Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, Two Counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Renaud was placed under arrest and charged with Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, Possession of Class B.

Kenney was placed under arrest and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, and Possession of Class A.

Randall was placed under arrest and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B.

McGourty was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant out of Peabody District Court for Larceny by Check, and Uttering a False Check.

A seventh suspect was summoned to court for Possession of Class B

All of the suspects are expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
