9/11/24 Robbery/Aggravated Battery (UPDATE BELOW)

(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, September 1st, 2024, Peoria Police responded to the 3200 block of NE Adams on a report of a male stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local


hospital with minor injuries. During the incident, the suspect also robbed the victim.

Detectives were able to obtain pictures of the suspect from surveillance footage but have been unable to make an identification.

The Peoria Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the suspect.

UPDATE

The suspect in this case has been identified as a 16-year-old male.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at approximately 11:27 a.m. detectives with the Peoria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) located the suspect in the 3900 block of N. Millbrook.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Peoria Police Department for interview purposes.

The juvenile was subsequently arrested for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery.

The juvenile was transported to JDC.
