Bryan Steil Opposed Lowering Costs of Life-Saving Drugs for Millions of Americans

As the Inflation Reduction Act delivers lower drug prices, Steil has repeatedly opposed the cost-saving legislation

Today, the White House announced that they have negotiated down the cost of 10 prescription drugs under Medicare, which is expected to save taxpayers $6 billion and help Americans save $1.5 billion in out-of-pocket medication costs.

Bryan Steil, who has taken nearly $200,000 from the drug industry, voted against this law to protect his special interest donors. Even worse, he and his party have repeatedly called for the full repeal of the landmark legislation.

Trump's Project 2025 and House Republicans' calls to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act would force millions of Americans to pay more for life-saving prescription drugs like insulin and now 10 of the country's most common and costly drugs.

DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
"This legislation is lowering prices of the most common and costly prescription drugs. Voters can see Bryan Steil trying to raise costs - and that's why they will reject him at the ballot box this November."
