VFD Responds to Structure Fire on Tyndall Drive

On Friday August 30th,2024,at approximately 06:25PM the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 3214 TyndallDr. The first fire unit arrived within fiveminutes to find smoke coming fromthe residence. An aggressive fire attack was executed bringing the fire under control as fire personnel confirmed that all residents were safely outside.

Three residentswere displaced and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

The Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Medical Health EMSassisted withon-scene operations.
