Tuolumne County

One-Way Traffic Control on State Routes 49 And 132

Tuolumne County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures next week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 132 (SR-132). Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

  • Moving closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound and southbound SR-49 between Chicken Ranch Road and SR-108 for a striping operation beginning Wednesday, October 2 through Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Bonds Flat Road and the SR-132/49 junction in Coulterville for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, September 30 through Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
