Notice and consultation on proposed administrative changes to gas distribution licences

10 September 2024

The Utility Regulator has published a notice of and consultation on proposed modifications to the gas distribution licences of:

  • SGN Evolve Network Ltd (Evolve);
  • Firmus energy (Distribution) Limited (FEDL);
  • Phoenix Energy Group Ltd (PE).

The proposed licence modifications are administrative modifications which seek to:

  • Reflect name and address changes in the licences;
  • Update the communication methods for the giving of notices under the licences to account for technological change.

The Utility Regulator considers that the proposed modifications will enhance accuracy of licence drafting with respect to name and address details of the licence holders, the Department and the Authority, as well as allowing for efficient, convenient and timely giving of notices under the licences.
