On 7/21/24 at around 7:30am, police were called to a house in the 2500 block of N. Hamilton on a call of gunshots heard. As officers were enroute, another caller stated he had located a deceased person in the house. Responding officers arrived and secured the scene, located the deceased female, and talked to witnesses. The Major Crimes Unit responded and determined the death was indeed a homicide.
