Water service outage in Makawao: 9PM Monday, November 11 - 5AM Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

The Department of Water Supply announces that upgrades to the County's water system will produce a water service outage affecting the town of Makawao. On Monday, November 11, 2024 beginning at 9 pm, until Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 5 am, residents and visitors will experience a water service outage. A portion of homes, businesses and schools on the side streets of Makawao Avenue from Kokomo Road through Makawao Town passed Kula Highway to Haleakala Highway. The water service outage will also include Olinda Road from Po'okela Church to Makawao Avenue and down Baldwin Avenue to Kaluanui Road. Therefore, DWS customers along these roads are encouraged to store water and adjust schedules as appropriate.
