Troopers conduct Underage Drinking Initiative in Tompkins County

On July 19, 2024, New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in Tompkins County. During initiative, 14 business were checked for compliance.

One business was found not in compliance and sold alcohol to an underage operative:

• Judd Falls Wine & Spirits, Pine Tree Rd Ithaca, NY 14850

13 were in compliance and did not sell any alcohol to an underage operative:

• Walgreens, North St, Dryden, NY
• Speedway, North St, Dryden, NY
• Kinney Drugs, North St, Dryden, NY
• Mirabito, West Main St, Dryden, NY
• Dryden Liquor Store, West Main St Dryden, NY
• Dandy, Slaterville Rd, Caroline, NY
• East Hill Plaza Mirabito, Pine Tree Rd, Ithaca, NY
• East Hill Plaza P&C Fresh, Pine Tree Rd, Ithaca, NY
• East Hill Plaza Walgreens, Pine Tree Rd, Ithaca, NY
• Mobil, North Triphammer Rd, Lansing, NY
• Mirabito, Peruville Rd, Lansing, NY
• C&Y Convenience, Ridge Rd, Lansing, NY
• Dandy, Fall Creek Rd, Freeville, NY

During these investigations, businesses are checked utilizing a Trooper in plain clothes and one of several underage operatives who cannot lie about their age or provide a false date of birth.
