Embankment Repair Project on Worlds End Road in Shrewsbury Township, Sullivan County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a portion of Worlds End Road (Route 3009) will be closed daily in Shrewsbury Township, Sullivan County, for an embankment repair project.

On Thursday, August 22, Friday, August 23, Monday, August 26, and Tuesday, August 27, Worlds End Road will be closed between Route 42 and Route 154, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew performs embankment repair due to the flood damage from August 9. Work includes placing of rock and roadway patching.

A detour using Route 42 and Route 154 will be in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert and expect delays in travel.
