Supporting for Tadao Ando's Library Donation Project 'Bangladesh Children's Book Forest'

　Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroyuki Okamoto) transported books for the collection of "Bangladesh Children's Book Forest", a library donated by a world-renowned architect Tadao Ando.

"Children's Book Forest", designed and donated by a world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, has ever opened at 4 locations in Japan (Nakanoshima, Tono, Kobe, Kumamoto) to nurture the great imagination of children.
In support of this project, we collected 3,020 books from "Kumamoto Children's Book Forest " and transported them to Bangladesh by sea, free of charge. The books were packed at our Osaka Bay Logistics Solution Center, cleared customs, and transported to Dhaka, Bangladesh in cooperation with Yusen Logistics (Bangladesh) Ltd. (Managing Director: Tariqul Islam), the Bangladeshi subsidiary of Yusen Logistics. The transported books will be translated into Bengali and stored in the new library "Bangladesh Children's Book Forest", which is scheduled to open in 2025.

This marks the first overseas extension of "Children's Book Forest" project with full cooperation from the Bangladeshi government, which is providing land and covering water and utility expenses. We hope that by participating in this project through transportation support, we can help foster spiritual growth among children who will shape the future of Bangladesh.

We support social contribution activities such as disaster relief, environmental conservation, welfare, and cultural support around the world.
