Drew: I think it's a question a lot of us get asked. What would you tell your younger self?So what, what would you tell your younger self today?

Aubrey: I think, you know, enjoy it more. Don't worry so much. Don't be, you know, like just that thing of like, just I was so hungry and so focused on like who I was going to be that I wasn't even like, and now I look back on my twenties. I'm like, oh my God, I was having so much fun, but I was so, so tortured all the time. I was always so like, so tortured.

Drew: What would you tell your 10-year-old self your younger self?

Maisy: I've thought about this a lot. I feel like I would need her. Like I feel like at 10 I was so

like beautifully unaware. I was like such a, I literally had no thoughts in my head but in like a really nice way. And I don't know, I feel like I just, I had no concept of perception and yeah, I was working but for some reason, it didn't like it just, I didn't even know I was working.

I don't think, I don't think I, like, gained consciousness until I was, like, on the show, I think when I did wake up.

Maisy Reveals She Once Went Skinny Dipping with Maddie Ziegler

Drew: Now did u go skinny dipping with Maddie Ziegler?

Maisy: Yeah. I mean, we grew up together we met when we were like 9 and 10. I was staying above like a, it was like a boat house above a restaurant like a marina restaurant. And like one night we thought it was late enough and we thought that everything was closed and we went, we like literally jumped off the dock naked. We went skinny dipping and then couldn't get back up on the dock. Maddie being the dancer, the professional dancer, she is has upper core strength, pulls herself up. I'm like having an absolute meltdown because I can't, I have none and I couldn't so Maddie literally, I wish so bad there was like some type of surveillance camera literally pulled my naked fish body up out of the water. I'm, it was so horrific and we looked up and there was across thankfully like not actually near us, like across the lake. There was like a full bar of people just like outside. We were like oh god.

Valerie Bertinelli on Her Menopause Journey

Drew: Val. Where are you at in the cycle?

Valerie: I stopped about, I probably stopped about eight years ago. I probably went through about 10 or 12 years through it. But I, the brain fog totally get, the hot flashes totally got the brain fog. I would get on 'Hot in Cleveland' and trying to like memorize lines. I mean, all of the best bloopers is because Valerie was going through brain fog. So yeah, but I'm a little confused and that's why I'm so happy you have these doctors with us today because I'm at a point now where I'm eight years out. But I've also had probably the most challenging, difficult heartbreaking eight years of my life in my entire 64 years. It's worse than when I would like, be pre period and when I would get my period when I would just be like, oh, now I'm like, what is happening to my mental health.

Drew: And nobody I've heard talks about how menopause could be harder to deal with than periods.

Drew: Alright. Is this your first time Lisa discussing this?

Lisa: I'm coming out, Drew, I'm coming out.

Drew: Seeing you in this moment is a total revelation because you're, you are having a coming out party.

Lisa: Well, I am. And as you said, there's been so much stigma around menopause forever. And I really felt compelled to talk about this because it has hit me like a ton of bricks.

Drew: Really? Tell me everything.

Lisa: Honestly, I will tell you everything. I've always taken care of myself. I've always eaten healthy. I've always, I've been a cardio junkie and so a couple of years ago, really when I turned 50 I started experiencing horrible brain fog and mild anxiety. I never really got too many hot flashes, every now and then…and then Drew I went to my GP who is a lovely woman and she started talking to me about getting a referral for, to see a psychologist and possibly taking some SSRI's…not once, and I was 50 years old when I had this appointment not once did she mention menopause. And then I heard you talking about menopause and perimenopause and you started talking about brain fog and I started thinking, 'Could that be what I'm going through?' And sure enough, when I finally went to an OB and started talking to other women in my life, I realized that I am going through a major hormonal imbalance as a result of what I and every woman on the planet will go through, which is menopause and perimenopause.

Drew: I can't believe this. This is such a miracle. This is what these incredible women tasked me with was being a part of making an awareness about this.
