SCDOT to temporarily close the SC 28 bridge over Rocky River in Anderson County for repairs

Columbia, S.C. (November 22, 2024) -The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close the SC 28 bridge over the Rocky River in Anderson County beginning December 4 for repairs. The closure is expected to last until the end of December.

As part of this closure, a signed detour will be posted using SC 28, SC 185, SC 284, and SC 413. Please note that SC 28 be open to local traffic only for the duration of the closure. A map of the closure and detour is below.
