Chef Joyadrita Chatterjee, an inspiring Bengali chef who has carved a path in the industry with a flourishing business from her home kitchen in Chennai, brings her culinary prowess with a meticulously crafted gastronomic journey that celebrates the rich tapestry of Bengali heritage. Her dishes, marked by the extensive use of mustard oil and seeds, saltwater and freshwater fishes, and varied leafy green vegetables, remain true to the authentic tastes of her native Kolkata, Dhaka and Mymensingh. Each dish is crafted with her signature spice mixes - Paanch Phoron, Shorshe, Posto, Kalo Jeera and Bhaja Moshla - which have been passed down through generations in her family. Walk down memory lane with Chef Chaterjee as she shares enchanting tales of her grandmother and food that has shaped her culinary journey. Bengal-Ooru is a celebration of Bengali flavours, heritage, and culinary artistry in Bengaluru. More than a meal, it is a taste of history and culture. She brings her childhood memories and ancestral recipes to life, showcasing quality dishes that are deeply rooted in Indian and Bangladeshi traditions.

Ready to light up with the aroma of mustard oil, experience live stations at CUR8, offering an interactive and immersive dining experience that will leave guests wanting more. The menu, a true Bengali feast, might feature signature dishes that a true-blue Bengali would drool over: Chicken Daak Bungalow, a dish prepared for the Britishers in 1960; Amer Luchi and Deem Diye Cholar Dal, dishes from Rabindra Nath Tagore's household; Lonka Pora Catla, Bangladeshi delicacy; and Malpua Rabri, Bengali's beloved dessert, to name a few.

Resonating with Four Seasons commitment to authenticity and sourcing the finest ingredients, Chef Chatterjee believes in preserving traditional cooking methods from Baata to Koshano and staying true to the spirit of every dish she creates. Embracing sustainable practices for a greener future, she champions zero waste cooking, transforming leftover rice and vegetable peels into delicious Bangladeshi fritters to snack on. This pop-up promises to awe patrons with an unparalleled dining experience, as Four Seasons Bengaluru continues to set new standards of refined luxury. Indulge in dishes made with premium ingredients of the finest quality, reflecting the Hotel's dedication to excellence that are sure to leave both hearts and stomachs full.
