Three Shot in Seattle’s Belltown Neighborhood

Three people were shot Monday evening in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood.

Shortly after 5:00 p.m., 911 Dispatch received multiple reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of 2nd Avenue and was later updated to 200 block and Lenora Street.

Officers arrived and located a 31-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wound to the ankle, and a man with a gunshot wound to the knee. Both victims receive aid at the scene and were transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

The third victim, a 25-year-old man was found in the 1900 block of 3rd Avenue. The male was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and hand, police provided aid until Seattle Fire Department arrived. The male was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Gun Violence Reduction Unit responded to the scene and will be leading the investigation.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. No suspect is in custody currently.
