Our values are the foundation of our welcoming, people-first culture. That's why we're proud to recognize five individual Splunkers and one Splunk team each quarter who truly embody these values. These special Splunkers have all been nominated by their colleagues for their commitment to exemplifying our values in all of their interactions! Junior User Experience Designer, Web Marketing | Illinois, USA

Splunkers told us Jennifer has a thorough and well planned approach to UX. Data-driven insights, usability testing and inter-team collaboration drive forward her innovative ideas on improving the splunk.com user journey. The Web Improvement team sees her as their go-to person for a sounding board and original ideas that directly impact KPIs.

Passionate

Hideyuki Nishiura

Staff Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineering | Tokyo, Japan

A solution engineer with over 8 years of experience at Splunk, Hideyuki has been instrumental in a recent landmark APAC deal, marking the largest cloud win for Splunk Japan's PBST team to date. He dug deep to understand the customer's true requirements, uncovering the drawbacks of their initial request. His coworkers said his expertise, communication skills, and unwavering dedication makes him an invaluable asset.

Hardik Surana

Software Engineer, App & End User Insights | San Jose, CA, USA

Hardik is described as a reliably excellent engineer. In the last quarter, he helped deliver APM histogram monitoring metrics and improvements in searching for APM example traces, adding usage metrics for a new category of data. On top of that, Hardik took initiative to improve instrumentation. But his coworkers said he most exemplified disruption when he did a large refactor of the shared APM backend codebase to make our package names sane!

Benya Chongolnee

Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineering | California, USA

Benya made a huge contribution to Womxn's History Month programming. Splunkers see that her commitment to empowering and supporting women at Splunk has made a significant difference for our community. Benya took initiative, contributing her unique event planning and panel brief writing skills to launch a successful amplification month. Her nomination included, "Thank you once again, Benya, for your passion and dedication to this work. It's not only critical for creating a positive employee experience, but is something that our customers see as a differentiator in this space as well."

Fun - The Roger David Carasso Award

Ben Hartwell

Sr. Manager, Software Engineer, Cloud Operations | Raleigh, NC, USA

As site lead for the North Carolina office, Ben brings the fun! Splunkers know when they go to the Raleigh office they will get that feeling of togetherness and joy that so many of us miss. Ben was nominated by members of various orgs and received 16 unique and detailed nominations highlighting him as the heart of the Raleigh office. He has planned events such as a Diwali celebration, Juneteenth celebration, volunteer event, .conf watch party and more.

Talent Marketing

Christy Mommsen, Lauren Gantner, Binisha Kanjaria, Natalie Kelly*

This team launched a new employer brand creative identity, "Love, Splunk" in February! This effort took a full year of researching and developing the creative identity to capture the authentic experience of Splunkers. They worked with numerous partners across the company to develop useful and beneficial tools to help attract and retain Splunkers. This launch included a whole new careers site, social media campaign, paid campaign, and new graphics and templates for Splunkers.
