Mayor Demings' Statement on the Comptroller's Report of May 2024 TDT Collections

Orange County, FL - "I am elated by the positive numbers released by Comptroller Diamond today. After adjustments, the Tourist Development Tax (TDT) collections for May 2024 turned out to be the highest May collections on record.

In another bit of good news, TDT reserves increased by more than $6 million for a new total of just over $395 million. Reserves help us invest in our community venues, the Convention Center, and cultural arts."
