Silurians Press Club Honors

Reporting from across the newsroom was recognized by the Silurians Press Club in its Excellence in Journalism competition, with seven medallion wins, including the President's Choice Award.

The Silurians Press Club, a New York-based organization and one of the oldest press clubs in the country, honors work about the city and the tri-state area.

Dan Barry and Karen Zraick won the President's Choice Award for "The Men Lost to 20 Bruckner Boulevard," an investigation into a troubled construction site in the South Bronx where three workers died in less than three years. The award is the highest honor of the competition.
