On September 4, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Edward Diamante, age 37, of 43 Rutherglen Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Domestic Violence - Violation of a No Contact Order. Mr. Diamante was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Justin Reed, age 30, of 96 Doyle Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Assault on a Correctional Officer. Mr. Reed was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Marquis Younger, age 27, of 59 Fairmount Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Simple Assault/ Battery. Mr. Younger was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Phillip Muggle, age 42, of 5 Smith Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts, as a Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Muggle was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Nicholas Noka, age 32, of 27 Coggeshall Street, Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Domestic Violence - Violation of a No Contact Order (two counts). Mr. Noka was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Jonathan Stone, age 40, of 30 Fuller Street, Apartment #4, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Domestic Violence - Violation of a No Contact Order. Mr. Stone was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force and the DEA Providence District Office arrested Janette Baez Rodriguez, age 41, 402 Providence Street 2nd Floor, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance - Fentanyl. Ms. Rodriguez was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where she was processed. She was later arraigned in Sixth District Court.

On September 4, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force and the DEA Providence District Office arrested Omar Baez, age 43, 402 Providence Street 2nd Floor, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Fentanyl; and 2) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine. Mr. Baez was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed. He was later arraigned in Sixth District Court.

On September 4, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested Joao Gomes, age 50, of 90 Courtney Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice out of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the Massachusetts State Police VFAS for the following: 1) Four (4) Counts of Rape; 2.) Three (3) Counts of Indecent Assault and Battery; and 3) Three (3) Counts Delivering Drugs / Articles to an Inmate within a Correctional Institution. Mr. Gomes was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned as a Fugitive from Justice.

On September 4, 2024, members of the Intelligence and Auto Theft Units, the Violent Fugitive Task Force, the ACI Special Investigations Unit, the Massachusetts State Police and the Lincoln Barracks arrested Kyle Deruisseau, age 25, of 30 Clematis Street, 3rd Floor, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession W/Intent to Deliver Cocaine/Crack Cocaine; 2) Possession W/Intent to Deliver Fentanyl; 3) Possession W/Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine; 4) Possession W/Intent to Deliver Oxycodone; 5) Possession of Cocaine - 1oz to 1 kilo; 6) Five (5) Counts of Possession of a Firearm while Possessing W/Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance; 7) Five (5) Counts of Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited; 8) Two (2) Counts of Alteration of Marks of Identification on a Firearm; 9) Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun; and 10) Resisting Arrest. Mr. Deruisseau was arraigned in Sixth District Court, where he was ordered held without bail.

On September 4, 2024, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Susan Bailey, age 54, of 125 Van Zandt Avenue, Apt. 209, Newport, Rhode Island, for cyberstalking and cyber harassment. Ms. Bailey was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and then to Second District Court. Ms. Bailey was arraigned before the Honorable Magistrate Goulart and issued $2,500 personal recognizance, to include no contact with the victim.

On September 4, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested Ky E. Bessette, age 52, of 62 Radcliffe Street Apartment 2, Fall River, Massachusetts, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Middletown Police Department for Domestic Felony Assault. Mr. Bessette was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Fall River Police Department.

On September 4, 2024, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Nancy Pizarro, age 24, of 17 Pierce Street, Greenfield, Massachusetts, for Insurance Fraud. Ms. Pizarro was special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future court date.
