It's easy to say a product is "green" or your company is committed to low carbon. Much harder to reconfigure your global supply chain, achieve and quantify demonstrable improvements, and have your methodologies and products certified and validated by leading 3rd party organizations specialized in measuring carbon reductions and environmental impacts.

After 3 years of focused effort we are pleased to offer Nextracker Inc.'s NX Horizon™ solar tracker system with a groundbreaking feature - up to 35% lower carbon footprint. Initially offered in the U.S., the low carbon tracker includes Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) documentation using a third-party verified analysis of reductions in carbon, land use, water consumption and other metrics associated with the sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, and operation of solar trackers. Nextracker also achieved The Carbon Trust 1 Product Carbon Footprint label certification for our low carbon solar tracker, demonstrating it has met the global standard for carbon emission data collecting, evaluation and reporting methodology.

"Nextracker's commitment to advancing low carbon solutions exemplifies the innovation and leadership needed to propel the energy sector forward. At Sol Systems, we are proud to collaborate with partners like Nextracker who share our vision for a cleaner, more resilient energy landscape. Together, we are not just promoting low carbon technologies; we are setting the standards for tomorrow's energy infrastructure," said Yuri Horwitz, co-founder and CEO.

"Upstream control for sourcing sustainably produced steel and components is highly complex and requires expertise and deep partnerships to navigate," stated Kevin Smith, CEO at Arevon Energy, Inc. "Nextracker continues to be an industry leader on operational excellence along with solar tracker engineering design that already significantly reduces the carbon footprint for our utility-scale solar projects."

We greatly appreciate the support of early adopter customers helping us define the low carbon offering, our supply chain partners providing us cleaner electric arc furnace steel and logistics solutions, and the incredible work of our dedicated staff.

Our vision is a world powered by renewable energy, and our products have supported that with features including higher energy production and terrain-following technology that allows trackers to conform to natural landscapes, minimizing earthwork. The low carbon tracker is a next major step to reduce the impacts of product fabrication and delivery, and we look forward to advancing clean renewable solutions with our partners.
