School children spend autumn vacation in Vantaa from October 14th to 20th.There are various activities available including art, sports, and events. Have a great holiday week!
Libraries offer autumn vacation activities such as robotics workshops, crafts, chess, other games, and bingo!
At Tikkurila Sports Hall, there will be sporty family fun "Perhepeuhat" on Wednesday, October 16th. Ice rinks offer public skating sessions for the enjoyment of holidaymakers. Check the specific schedules on the ice rinks' websites. There are also many sports camps for children.
At the Cultural House Martinus and Lumo you can enjoy movies. Additionally, Teatteri Qo's puppet show "Ovisilmä" will entertain children at the Toteemi Children's Culture Center on Saturday, October 19th.
Moreover, during the holiday week, there will be the West Side Vernissa art camp, 80s stall games at the Vantaa City Museum, a light trail at Håkansböle Manor Park, and many workshops at children's cultural centers. The opening of the "Koti kullan kallis" exhibition will be celebrated at the Toteemi Children's Culture Center on Saturday, October 19th.
Youth centers also organize various interesting activities during the holiday week. The holiday program for youth centers and young adults will be published on the vantaa.fi/nuoret page in week 41.
