Sessions will take place from 10 a.m. to noon in Osceola Theatre, located on TU's campus in Gillmor Student Center on Fridays starting January 17. Ten non-credit classes will be held per semester, with topics covering a wide range of themes. A semester membership covering ten classes costs $85.

Topics for the 2025 spring session include: The History of the Jr. Home, How Global Commerce & Supply Chain Management Affect the Economy, Beliefs and Superstitions from Around the World, Serious Illness and End of Life Issues, Tecumseh and Colonel Crawford: The Real History of Native Americans in Ohio, New Orleans: Mardi Gras, History and Culture of a Uniquely American City, The History of Jazz and Big Band Music, HERstory: Dr. Lillian Schumacher, Healthy Aging and A Senior's Guide to Seneca County Parks and Small Space Gardens.

LIFE@TU Director Vickie Wilkins and Coordinator Mimi Lange Johnston work directly with members to create the curriculum for the program. In addition to weekly sessions, LIFE@TU has added monthly classes called Tech for Seniors, which cover topics such as iPhone basics and security, why and how to back up your data, using streaming services and using voice assistants and other AI tools. Tech for Senior classes will also resume in January.

"We are very proud to be able to offer a program of such high quality to area seniors," said Dr. Lillian Schumacher, President of Tiffin University. "The reaction from the community has been extremely positive and the growth of the program speaks for itself. We look forward to sharing next semester's sessions with current members and welcome anyone interested in becoming part of the LIFE@TU community, which provides not only learning opportunities but also genuine connection and friendships."

Wilkins and Johnston have been pleased with the program's success and look forward to the spring 2025 season. "In its second year, LIFE@TU reinforces its commitment to area seniors through the Friday sessions, as well as Tech for Seniors, opportunities for fun and connection like our Holiday Social and now an Intergenerational Book Club in conjunction with the Tiffin University Library," said Mimi Lange Johnston, Coordinator of LIFE@TU. "LIFE@TU has become an incredible community, and we are honored to be able to contribute meaningfully to the lives of our members and guests."
