LACERS OPEN ENROLLMENT HEALTH PLAN CHANGES BECOME EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025

LACERS' Open Enrollment period ended November 18, and applications for health plan changes for the 2025 plan year are no longer being accepted.

Changes made during the Open Enrollment period become effective January 1, 2025. If you changed your health plan, you will receive your health plan I.D. card in mid-January. New deductions that reflect your health plan changes will appear on your retirement check on December 31, 2024.

The next opportunity to change your LACERS benefit plans will be next year during the Open Enrollment period unless you experience a qualifying event.

Missed attending a 2025 LACERS Virtual Open Enrollment Meeting? You can still learn about everything discussed by watching recorded presentations of the virtual meetings at the official LACERS YouTube channel at youtube.com/@lacersofficial. These informative videos include presentations from Anthem, Kaiser, SCAN, UnitedHealthcare, and Delta Dental. The YouTube channel is also a great learning resource and has an assortment of videos on Medicare, IRMAAs, and so much more. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel to be the first to know when new content is added!

In observance of the upcoming winter holidays, the LACERS front desk will be closed for services and appointments, and the 800 phone number will be offline on:

December 31

LACERS will continue to reply to incoming emails via [email protected] and respond to voicemails during this time.

LACERS will be CLOSED, and services will be unavailable on:

​January 1
