Household Hazardous Waste & Paint Collection Offered for Alpharetta Residents

City of Alpharetta residents have an opportunity to have their household hazardous waste and paint either recycled or properly disposed of through a one-day recycling collection event on Saturday, November 16, 2024. This collection must be limited to those residing within the Alpharetta City Limits. Please note that the number of participants is limited.

Common items to be accepted include paint and paint related substances, old gasoline, home, auto, and garden chemicals, poisons, and many other substances.

Important: This collection requires pre-registration.
Note: Registration ends Monday November 11, 2024.

There is no charge for acceptable items. Refer to the registration form for a more complete listing. Please note that we are unable to offer this collection to Alpharetta businesses. Once registered, items will be accepted on November 16, 2024, between the hours of 8:30 am and 1:00 pm with no exceptions. Residents will be instructed to remain in their vehicle at the collection site while technicians unload their vehicles.

What do you have to do?

• Submit a completed pre-registration form by Monday, November 11, 2024. You will get a return confirmation email.

• Bring your confirmation form with your items on November 16, 2024.

• Safely transport items to the collection site keeping them in original containers and separated.
