Warming Shelters Open 12.3.24 - 12.8.24

In conjunction with the City of South Fulton Parks Department, South Fulton - GA Fire Rescue , and the City of South Fulton Police Department , the decision has been made to open warming shelters in a limited capacity.

Burdett Park and Welcome All Park will serve as Warming Shelters during business hours Tuesday, December 3 - Sunday, December 8, 2024 (see addresses below).

Those needing overnight shelter December 3, 2024 will be directed to one of two locations designated by Atlanta Fulton County Emergency Management Agency. The overnight warming centers will open at Central Park Recreation Center and Old Adamsville Recreation Center (see addresses below).

Transportation to overnight shelters will be provided by Fulton County, departing nightly from the Gateway Center at 8:00 pm with return upon deactivation. The facilities will provide the necessary resources such as personnel, snacks, drinks and bedding.
