I appreciate the efforts of IAM Local 751 President Jon Holden, the union's bargaining committee, and the Boeing Corporation for their good-faith commitment and work in negotiating this latest contract offer for the 33,000 members across the Pacific Northwest, including here in Renton.

I am pleased to see progress has been made through negotiations between IAM Local 751 and the Boeing Company, and I'm hopeful our machinists will agree that the latest contract offer reflects the value of their contributions and the importance of their work, and that IAM Local 751 and Boeing will be able to return to building the world's best planes.
