Ring in the Holidays in Downtown Auburn on Saturday, November 30th

Holiday Parade & City Tree Lighting
Saturday, November 30 at 5PM


Ring in the holidays downtown with family and friends on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Check out the following downtown holiday events:

  • 2-5pm: Visit with Royal Promise Productions Frozen Princesses Anna & Elsa along with Olaf at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center, 25 South Street from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 30. Other entertainment includes Bob Piorun Trio with Julie Howard; Jeff the Magic Man; and 4-H family crafts.
  • 5pm: The 37th annual Holiday Parade & float competition starts at 5PM. Parade starts at E.Genesee Street & Fulton Street and marches west on Genesee Street through downtown to William Street, to Lincoln Street and ending at the Equal Rights Heritage Center.
  • 5:45pm: immediately following the parade the City of Auburn's Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center courtyard. The ceremony will be bigger and better this year with holiday caroling performances by Genesee Street Voices, Auburn High School Band and Connie Fredericks-Malone followed by visits with Mr. & Mrs. Claus.
