NACHC Invests in Health Equity Work at Community Health Centers with support from Johnson & Johnson

Bethesda, MD- The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is proud to announce the Community Health Center awardees that received funding to advance solutions in racial health equity and career advancements for nurses of color. The "Models of Care for Racial Health Equity" and "Nursing Pipelines & Pathways" grant programs powered by Johnson & Johnson directly impact patients at Community Health Centers across the country.

NACHC prioritizes health equity with a vision for everyone to have access to high-quality, culturally and linguistically competent, and affordable primary healthcare.

Each "Models of Care for Racial Health Equity" awardee has been granted $50,000 to invest in an existing program, targeted intervention, or other care delivery method shown to have measurable improvements in racial health outcomes. The health centers awarded under this grant program include:

Community Health Centers serve 32.5 million Americans in rural, urban, suburban, frontier and island communities. They accomplish their impact with a dedicated, innovative, and highly skilled workforce of 310,000 professionals.

The "Nursing Pipelines & Pathways" program invests $40,000 in each awardee for workforce development and "grow your own" strategies specifically for nurses of color. The health centers awarded under this grant program include:
