Scarborough Road Temporary Closure

As part of our ongoing commitment for safer travel for our community, the City of South Fulton has contracted with Brightview Tree Service to remove several leaning trees on a section of Scarborough Road.

The tree removals are scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2024 starting at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The removal of the leaning trees will enhance the overall safety for motorists traveling on Scarborough Road.

Considering the tree removal activity, a detour plan will be implemented for Scarborough Road starting August 17^th. The detour route will redirect Scarborough Road traffic via Mason Road, Welcome All Road and South Fulton Parkway. This temporary measure aims to facilitate smooth traffic flow while the trees are being removed.
